Using the Cover Generator
Updated Nov 6, 2026
The Cover Generator designs four finished ebook covers at a time, title, subtitle and author included, from a title you type or a Library product you pick. Choose one of six styles, use your brand colours if you like, then download a cover as a PNG or place it straight on your PDF. It's included in the Master Library ($97 one-time) and lives under Create > Cover Generator.
Step by step
- Open it from the sidebar (Create > Cover Generator), or click New cover on a product page.
- Start from a Library product (optional). Pick an ebook, guide, workbook, checklist, listicle, prompt pack or toolstack and the form fills in the title, a subtitle and a short topic line. The original cover shows next to your new ones for comparison.
- Fill in or edit the details: Title, Subtitle (optional), Author name (optional) and What it's about, which helps the concept.
- Add a reference image (optional). Drop in a cover or image you like (PNG, JPG or WebP). The covers borrow its palette, type and layout, never its words.
- Pick a style: Bold, Editorial, Minimal, Illustrated, Luxe or Warm.
- Pick colours: "Style decides", or "My brand colours" (the first colour leads). These are shared with your brand kit in the PDF Rebrander.
- Click Generate 4 covers.
What you can do with a cover
Each cover has four buttons:
- Download PNG: a portrait cover image for your shop, listing or Canva.
- Regenerate this cover: a new version of that one concept.
- Make mockups with this cover: opens Mockup Studio with it.
- Use on your PDF: opens the PDF Rebrander and puts the cover on page 1 of the product. Undo brings the original cover back.
The hand-off opens a new tab. If your browser blocks it, download the cover and upload it in the Rebrander under Cover.
Check the spelling
The title is part of the generated image. Covers usually get it right, but always read the title, subtitle and name letter by letter. If anything is off, click Regenerate this cover.
How many covers?
Covers are unlimited for normal use. A fair-use cap stops scripts and shared logins; if you ever reach it, the message says it resets at midnight UTC. Your most recent covers stay in this browser, so you can come back to them.
Tips
- A short title reads better at thumbnail size.
- Use "What it's about" to name the reader: "productivity for solopreneurs who keep putting things off" gives a sharper concept than "productivity".
- For a series, keep the same style and brand colours on every product.
- Need a specific size? Download the PNG and resize it in Canva. Kindle covers are 1600 x 2560 px.
Which products work
Ebooks, guides, workbooks, checklists, listicles, prompt packs and toolstacks. Email mini-courses, audio, video and Notion templates have no book cover to work from, so the picker skips them. You can still type any title by hand.
If you joined before 4 November 2026
You keep what your plan included. The PDF Rebrander, Cover Generator and Mockup Studio are included on the older Pro / Lifetime, Yearly and Monthly plans. Master Library Lite and the older Basic plan don't include them: the tools open, but the paid features show an upgrade option instead. If you're not sure which plan you have, email support@entrepedia.co.
