How to Rebrand Ebooks (Word/PDF)

Rebranding makes your products stand out and feel uniquely yours. Here's how to customize ebooks using the included Word and PDF files.

Do You HAVE to Rebrand?

No. You can sell products as-is if you prefer. However, rebranding is highly recommended because:

  • It makes your product stand out from others selling similar content
  • It builds your brand recognition
  • It increases perceived value
  • Even small changes make a big difference

Quick Rebranding (PDF Only)

For minimal effort, just add your logo to the existing PDF.

Tools: iLovePDF, Adobe Acrobat, SmallPDF

Steps:

  1. Download the PDF version
  2. Upload to iLovePDF or similar tool
  3. Add your logo to the cover and/or footer
  4. Download the branded PDF

For complete customization, edit the Word (.docx) file.

What You Can Change:

Step-by-Step Process:

Step 1: Open the Word file

  • Use Microsoft Word or Google Docs
  • Google Docs: Upload to Drive → Open with Google Docs

Step 2: Add your branding

  • Replace "Author Name" with your name
  • Add your logo to the header or title page
  • Include your website URL
  • Add a call-to-action (e.g., "Visit mysite.com for more")

Step 3: Customize the content

  • Update the title to match your brand voice
  • Add your own introduction or personal story
  • Insert your own examples or case studies

Option 1: Canva (Recommended)

  1. Go to canva.com
  2. Create a new design (ebook cover size: 1600 x 2560 px)
  3. Upload the included artwork
  4. Add your title, subtitle, and author name
  5. Apply your brand colors and fonts
  6. Download as PDF or PNG

  1. Open the template
  2. Replace placeholder text
  3. Upload your own images or use included artwork
  4. Export

Combining New Cover with Content

After creating your cover and editing the content:

Method 1: Word Document

  • Insert your cover image as the first page
  • Export the entire document as PDF

Method 2: PDF Merge

  • Export cover as PDF
  • Export content as PDF
  • Use iLovePDF or Adobe Acrobat to merge into one file

Rebranding Checklist

Before publishing, make sure you've:
