Troubleshooting Download Issues

If your downloads aren't working, try these solutions.

Most Common Issue: Pop-Up Blocker

Our download system uses a pop-up window. If pop-ups are blocked, the download won't start.

How to Fix:

Chrome:

  1. Click the blocked pop-up icon in the address bar
  2. Select "Always allow pop-ups from app.entrepedia.co"
  3. Or: Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings → Pop-ups → Add app.entrepedia.co to "Allowed"

Safari:

  1. Safari → Preferences → Websites → Pop-up Windows
  2. Find app.entrepedia.co → Select "Allow"

Firefox:

  1. Click the shield icon in the address bar
  2. Turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection for this site
  3. Or: Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Pop-ups → Exceptions → Add app.entrepedia.co

Edge:

  1. Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Pop-ups and redirects
  2. Add app.entrepedia.co to "Allow"

Other Common Issues

Issue: Download Started But File Not Found

Try these:

  1. Check your Downloads folder
  2. Check browser download history (Ctrl/Cmd + J)
  3. Search your computer for .zip files
  4. The file may have downloaded with a different name

Issue: "Failed" or "Error" Message

Try these:

  1. Refresh the page (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R)
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
  4. Check your internet connection
  5. Try downloading again

Issue: ZIP File Won't Open

Try these:

  1. Make sure the download completed fully
  2. Re-download the file
  3. Use a dedicated unzip tool:
    • Windows: 7-Zip, WinRAR
    • Mac: The Unarchiver
  4. Check if your antivirus is blocking the file

Issue: Files Inside ZIP Are Missing or Corrupted

Try these:

  1. Delete the current download
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Download again
  4. Use a different browser
  5. If the issue persists, contact support

Issue: Downloads Work But Very Slow

Try these:

  1. Check your internet speed
  2. Try downloading during off-peak hours
  3. Pause other downloads or streaming
  4. Try a wired connection instead of WiFi

Browser-Specific Solutions

Chrome

  • Clear cache: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data
  • Disable extensions: Extensions can interfere with downloads
  • Try Incognito mode: Press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + N

Safari

  • Clear cache: Safari → Clear History
  • Check downloads settings: Preferences → General → File download location
  • Try right-clicking the download button → "Download Linked File"

Firefox

  • Clear cache: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear Data
  • Check download settings: Settings → Files and Applications
  • Disable Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site

Edge

  • Clear cache: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data
  • Try InPrivate mode: Press Ctrl + Shift + N

Still Having Issues?

If none of these solutions work:

  1. Try a different device — Test on another computer or phone
  2. Try a different network — Switch from WiFi to mobile data or vice versa
  3. Take a screenshot — Capture the error message
  4. Contact support — Share the screenshot and details about:
    • What product you're trying to download
    • What browser you're using
    • What error message (if any) you see
