Will It Sound Like Me? Is It Written by AI?

Updated Nov 6, 2026

Yes, Studio work is built to sound like you. Every project starts with a voice profile built from your interviews and past material, editors who learn how you talk shape every asset, and nothing ships until you approve it. AI is part of our production, used for research, transcription, first drafts and refinement passes, but people make the decisions and every chapter is edited by humans and reviewed by you.

How we capture your voice

  1. Your interviews. A strategy session and a few recorded conversations capture your methodology, your stories, your phrasing and your point of view.
  2. Your past material. Talks, posts, decks and anything you've already said and written help calibrate the voice.
  3. Tone defined before writing. We set your tone of voice before the first chapter.
  4. Editors, not a house style. Senior editors are trained to write in your voice.
  5. Your checkpoints. For a book you review a draft halfway, and one additional review round is included after we send it. Anything that doesn't feel like you gets flagged and fixed before the book is final.

Where AI fits, and where it doesn't

We're open about this: AI is in our process, as a tool.

  • AI does: research, transcripts, first drafts and refinement passes that improve flow and readability.
  • People do: decide what to build, what to say and what to cut, write and edit every asset, and check it against your voice.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT gives everyone the same generic answers. A Studio asset starts from your expertise: your frameworks, your client stories and opinions too specific to be generated. Strategy decides what to build for your buyers, and editors make it read like you at your sharpest, not like ChatGPT with a suit on. Our team also answers this on video in the Studio FAQ.

Is it ethical to use a ghostwriter?

Yes. Many business books, speeches and expert guides are written with professional help. The expertise has to be yours, which is why every project starts with your methodology and your stories, never a template. The writer's job is to put what you know on the page clearly. You are the author, your name is on the cover, and our role stays behind the scenes. More: What is ghostwriting?
