Jeff Yelton spent 43 years in the IT industry as a business owner and C-level executive at companies including IBM, Retallix, ScanSource, and Ingram Micro. After growing and selling a value-added reseller for $245 million, Jeff retired in March 2024.
He then launched CPHERE - a consulting firm made up of retired C-suite executives helping mid-market IT companies and private equity firms with growth strategy, acquisitions, and operational transformation.

He came from a background of white papers - “kind of an old school, 1990s way to think about things.” He tried repurposing those into longer content using large language models on his own - Gemini, ChatGPT, Anthropic.
